Lunar New Year
Project 2
Lunar New Year, starting on February 17, 2026, is a major 15-day festival marking the first new moon of the lunisolar calendar. Celebrated across many Asian cultures, it signifies renewal, family reunions, honoring ancestors, and welcoming fortune through red decorations, fireworks, and feasts. This year’s lunar new year’s is special because it is the year of the fire horse. 2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse. This is a rare 60-year cycle.
